GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERSHIP OF AIMS
. The Institute should have a minimum full time faculty strength of 5 members and part time/visiting faculty strength of 10 members.
. Institutions recognized by AICTE, University Departments and the affiliated colleges, Private and Independent Institutes are eligible to apply for membership. (enclose details)
. The Institute should have at least one course of one academic year whether full time or part time.
. Mode of instruction at the institution may be through classroom contact or distance learning.
. The Institute should have its distinct and clearly marked infrastructure; Institutional, financial and operational identity.
. The Institute should be owned and managed by Trust/Registered Society or any other Statutory Trust. It should not be proprietary.
CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP ( RULE 3 ) (a)
Institutional Membership will be available to management education institutions such as Universities and their Management Departments, Or Schools Or Institutes of Management, affiliated schools imparting management education, National Management Institutes and other, recognised Private management educational institutions as well as professional organisations directly involved in Management Subject to criteria approved by the Executive Board.
